Handmade Flower of Venus Pentacle in Sterling Silver or Bronze w/ multiple stone setting options

HISTORY; OVERVIEW:
The Star of Venus, also known as the Flower of Venus, refers to the unique geometric pattern Venus traces in the sky over an eight-year cycle as observed from Earth. This pattern is formed due to the specific orbital relationship between Earth and Venus, which creates a five-pointed star or pentagram over time. The Star of Venus is often seen as a symbol of balance, harmony, and the interconnectedness of life. Its geometric precision reflects the beauty and order of the cosmos. The Goddess Venus is associated with love, beauty, fertility, and creativity. The pentacle, as a manifestation of Venus’ movements, embodies these qualities and is often linked to divine femininity. Additionally The eight-year cycle of Venus reflects themes of renewal, transformation, and the cyclical nature of life, which are central to many pagan and nature-based beliefs. In modern paganism and Wicca, the pentagram derived from Venus’ orbit is used in rituals, sigils, and spells to invoke the planet's energies. It is seen as a tool for connecting with Venusian qualities, such as harmony, attraction, and creativity.
In this piece I sought to combine the elements of the Pentacle and the Flower of Venus to present them in a collabrative way. The outer binding band of the Pentacle can be decorated with stones representing the elemental associations with the Pentacle's points, or with any stones of the wearer's choosing. The stones can also be replaced with Rivets and a central larger stone can be mounted in the center of the pentacle.

VARIATIONS:
I offer three styles/ metal combinations for this piece. The first is 100% Sterling Silver, the second is a multi-metal fabrication with a Bronze Spiral-ring and Silver Pentacle star. The Third option is also a multi-metal construction and features a 14k Gold Spiral Ring with Silver Pentacle star.
I offer two stone combinations for this piece, the first being the 5 elemental stone settings at each point of the pentacle star, the second is a large central 6mm stone setting in 14K gold bezel and silver or bronze rivets at each point of the pentacle depending on the outer ring material used.

NECKLACE AND HARDWARE:
The standard bail which accompanies this piece is a 5.5mm looped bail secured to the pentacle with a brass rivet or a rivet which matches the outer ring rivets in the riveted version. This bail is handmade from 20 gauge sterling sheet and comes with an adjustable 16-18 inch stainless steel chain.

EACH PIECE IS MADE BY HAND BY THE SAME CRAFTSPERSON:
Each of the components of these pendants begin as a unique wax model which is then cast in Sterling Silver or Bronze using the lost wax casting method. The stone setting and bail are fabricated by hand and different metal components fitted together and soldered in place. After the stone is set the piece is finished by hand. After all finishing work is completed it is coated in a layer of black patina to emphasize the recessed portions of the design then the raised portions are brought back to a high polish in contrast. All of the work from the wax model to the casting and finishing is performed by me in house at the Drakenforge studio.
