Handmade Sterling Silver Triple Goddess Pendant featuring Pentacle

In many religious traditions, the Goddess takes a three-fold form, known as the Triple Goddess. Her individual aspects, as the Maiden, the Mother, and the Crone, and are aligned with the phases of the Moon’s cycle—the waxing crescent, the Full Moon, and the waning crescent. These aspects also represent the three phases of a woman’s life in terms of physical reproduction—before, during, and after the body’s ability to have a child. While a woman will proceed linearly through these phases in a literal sense during her lifetime, each aspect of the Triple Goddess has qualities that all of us—male and female—resonate with at various points in our lives. Indeed, the three-fold form of the Goddess could be said to reflect the complexities of the human psyche, as well as the cycles of life and death experienced by all who dwell on Earth.

This pendant features the waxing and waning moons represented by their crescents and incorporates the mother as the circle of the full moon represented by a 0.5 inch pentacle, all created in a single, solid piece of Sterling Silver.

This symbol is also associated with mystery and psychic abilities. The addition of the pentacle signifies the Mother's association with the earth which the pentacle often represents. This symbol has adorned the crowns or other head-pieces, worn by High Priestesses.

Each of these pendants begin life as a unique wax model which is then cast in 100% .925 purity sterling silver. After casting, the piece is finished by hand and a sterling silver jump ring is attached and soldered closed for attachment to a chain or necklace of your choice. Finally a layer of patina is applied to all the recesses and the raised portions are brought back to a high polish. All of the work from the wax model to the casting and finishing is performed by me in house at the Drakenforge workshop.

If any part of this piece fails, you pay shipping to return it to me and I will repair/replace whatever is needed to make the piece functional again, this includes: One Free Ring resizing after initial purchase, chain repairs, replacement of missing stones and broken solder seams.
