Handmade Sterling Silver 1.5 inch Crescent Moon Goddess

As the essence of the divine feminine, the Goddess is associated with both the Earth and Moon. In her association with the Moon, the Goddess rules the night and the ocean tides, as well as the reproductive cycles of women and the realm of the human psyche. In this watery element, she is associated with emotion and intuition and the wisdom that comes from engaging with our shadow side. In her lunar role she may be represented by the Greek goddess Artemis, the Roman Diana, or the Celtic Cerridwen, among others.

This Goddess form with the inclusion of the crescent moon represents (in my mind) the Goddess and her intimate association with the moon, ebb and flow of tides and the cycles of life. This symbol is also associated with feminine energy, mystery and psychic abilities. You often see this symbol on crowns or other head-pieces, particularly worn by High Priestesses.

This pendant measures approximately 40x20mm with the 5.5mm sterling jump-ring bail and you can choose to add a bezel set 8x6 oval faceted stone.

I create several different styles of Goddess Pendants and rings. The final photo in the profile is a sample of the other styles I also create if you are looking for something slightly different.

Each piece of jewelry I create begins its life as a unique hand carved wax model which is then cast in 100% .925 sterling silver. A 5.5mm jump-ring is soldered closed to serve as a bail. When the final finishing work is completed a layer of patina is applied to all the recesses. All of the work from the wax model to the casting and finishing is performed by me in studio.

If any part of this piece fails, you pay shipping to return it to me and I will repair/replace whatever is needed to make the piece functional again, this includes: One Free Ring resizing after initial purchase, chain repairs, replacement of missing stones and broken solder seams. I want this piece to last a lifetime so anything within reason and not a result of obvious abuse I will take care of at no charge and I will work with you to repair any accidental damage at a discounted price.
