Goddess Pendant Handmade in Sterling Silver with and w/out 14K Gold Spiral

As the essence of the divine feminine, the Goddess is associated with both the Earth and Moon. In her association with the Moon, the Goddess rules the night and the ocean tides, as well as the reproductive cycles of women and the realm of the human psyche. In this watery element, she is associated with emotion and intuition and the wisdom that comes from engaging with our shadow side. In her lunar role she may be represented by the Greek goddess Artemis, the Roman Diana, or the Celtic Cerridwen, among others.

The Goddess form as represented here is how it is traditionally depicted in Celtic/ pagan art and signifies (in my mind) the Goddess in her initial form as The Maiden. This symbol is associated with feminine energy, mystery and psychic abilities. You often see this symbol on crowns or other head-pieces, particularly worn by High Priestesses. I offer a second version of this pendant which includes a 6mm wide 14K gold Spiral held aloft.

This pendant measures approximately 40x10mm with the 5mm jump-ring bail. I create several different styles of Goddess Pendants and rings. The final photo in the profile is a sample of the other styles I also create if you are looking for something slightly different.

Each of these pendants begin as a unique wax model which is then cast in 100% .925 purity sterling silver. If included, the Gold Spiral is fabricated by hand and soldered in place.. The 5.0mm bail is attached and finally a layer of oxidation is applied to the piece and it is re-polished to bring only the raised areas back to shine to emphasize details. All of the work from the wax model to the casting and stamping, soldering, and finishing is performed in house at the Drakenforge studio by me personally.
