Handmade Silver Goddess ring with Pentacle and 5mm 14K gold bezel set Round Cut Stone

As the essence of the divine feminine, the Goddess is associated with both the Earth and Moon. In her association with the Moon, the Goddess rules the night and the ocean tides, as well as the reproductive cycles of women and the realm of the human psyche. In this watery element, she is associated with emotion and intuition and the wisdom that comes from engaging with our shadow side. In her lunar role she may be represented by the Greek goddess Artemis, the Roman Diana, or the Celtic Cerridwen, among others.

Often associated with the Goddess symbol is the Pentacle, often used to represent earth, harmony and equality. The five-pointed star is an ancient symbol, found in both Eastern and Western cultures, and has been used to represent various aspects of human and spiritual concerns. As an Earth-related symbol, it is associated in classic Tarot decks with abundance. Its use in paganism comes from traditions of ceremonial magic. Each point is said to represent an element: Air, Earth, Fire, and Water, with the fifth element (Spirit or Akasha) as the upward point. Its round shape and Earth associations make it sacred to the Goddess.

This handmade ring measures 36mm tall, and 12mm at its widest point on the sides where the pentacle meets the band. The Goddess is holding aloft a 5mm round cut gemstone mounted in a 14K Gold Bezel setting. You choose the stone you want. I also offer this ring without the stone setting and with the Goddess Arms fashioned in a loop. I can also make alternate versions where she is holding aloft a spiral symbol as depicted in many of my other pieces.

Each of these Rings begin as a unique wax model which is then cast in 100% .925 sterling silver. The stone setting is fabricated by hand and soldered in place together in place. The stone is then set and finally a layer of oxidation is applied to the piece and it is re-polished to bring only the raised areas back to shine to emphasize details. All of the work from the wax model to the casting and stamping, soldering, and finishing is performed in house at the Drakenforge studio by me personally.
