DetailsThe story of this ring begins with me at a jewelry show. A lady shows up who describes to me exactly what she wants and gives me no room for suggestions. I said "yes ma’am" and managed to sketch an image she found acceptable. I worked on and off for a month to get it just right as she was such a stickler for details. After the flower was cast from my wax carving and the ring band meticulously sized to her specifications she decided she was no longer interested in her custom piece. My lesson as an artist trying to be a businessman is, get a deposit for custom work.
This situation was disappointing to me as a business person but as an artist I had a lot of fun making this one of a kind ring.
I am hoping someone on Etsy will show it some love too. Since I carve each individually some minor variations may occur in final product.
Hand carved in wax, this floral artwork is then cast in .925 sterling silver. The band is then shaped/formed and soldered onto the piece after casting. This ring, can be sized between 4-8US
