The Pentacle is a symbol of a star encased in a circle. Always with 5 points (one pointing upward), each has its own meaning. The upward point of the star is representative of the spirit. The other four points all represent an element; earth, air, fire, and water. The binding circle of the symbol brings these elements into unity. It is worn as a ward of protection and as a focal point to connect with the spiritual realm.
This ring version of the pentacle pendant I also sell measures 26mm wide and tall, the band is 5mm wide. This Pentacle is 100% Sterling Silver and features a 4mm round faceted stone set in a 14K gold bezel setting. Choose from a variety of available stone options or opt for no stone setting at all.
Choices of stones include:
Purple Amethyst, Peridot, Emerald, Garnet, Blue Spinel, Ruby, Ice Blue & London Blue Topaz, Sapphire, Iolite, Aquamarine, Rhodolite Garnet.
Each of these rings begin life as a unique wax model which is then cast in .925 Sterling Silver. The stone setting is fabricated by hand, each one created specially for each unique stone. After the stone is set the piece is finished by hand. After all finishing work is completed it is coated in a layer of black patina to emphasize the recessed portions of the design then the raised portions are brought back to a high polish to contrast. All of the work from the wax model to the casting and finishing is performed by me in house at my studio. No metal is ever wasted when creating these pendants, up to 30% of the metal is recycled from previous castings.
Don't see a stone which speaks to you or you prefer different materials in construction? Contact me with your customization ideas! I am more than willing to produce exactly what you want usually for no more than the cost of the original piece depending on cost of materials.
This ring is shipped to you in a black gift box. A free polishing cloth, care instructions, and a brief summary of the history of this symbol are also included with every order.
