  • Details
The Triquetra (trinity knot) is one of the best known symbols in Celtic culture. Many cultures have used this symbol and each attached its own meaning to it. The Trinity Knot is a widely recognized symbol used for the past two centuries by Celtic Christians, and before that by pagans and agnostics as a sign of special things and people that are threefold. The Celts, who worshipped a moon goddess who was associated with waxing, waning, and full moons also used this symbol to represent their deity. The Norse often used this symbol to represent the God Odin. General meanings include the infinite and eternity, protection, equality, and divine femininity.

Each Triquetra ring I create begins its life as a unique carved wax model which is then cast in .925 Sterling Silver. After all finishing work is completed it is coated in a layer of black patina to emphasize the raised portions of the design. The piece is then brought back to a high polish to contrast. All of the work from the wax model to the casting and finishing is performed by me in house at the Drakenforge workshop. No metal is ever wasted when creating these pendants, up to 30% of the metal is recycled from previous castings.

Do you prefer different materials used in the construction, modification to the symbol? Contact me with your customization ideas! I am more than willing to produce exactly what you want.

This pendant is shipped to you in a ring gift box. A free polishing cloth, care instructions, and a brief summary of the history of this symbol are also included with every order.
