The Greenman's Pentacle with 5 elemental stones or 6mm Cabochon, handmade in Sterling silver or Bronze, 30mm

The Pentacle is a symbol of a star encased in a circle. Always with 5 points (one pointing upward), each has its own meaning. The upward point of the star is representative of the spirit. The other four points all represent an element; earth, air, fire, and water. It is worn as a ward of protection and as a focal point to connect with the spiritual realm. This design draws from lore related to the Green Man, ruler of the wild places and the Goddess's consort. Conjuring images of the forest, the Pentacle star is carved in such a way as to look like five intersecting lines of wood, at each corner Ivy, and branches erupt around the circumference of the pentacle binding it together. At each of the pentacle's open spaces is held an Elemental Stone, each 3mm Round cut stone is held in place within its own bezel mounting. Each stone represents an element. Blue Sapphire = Water, Emerald = Earth, Golden Citrine = Air, Ruby = Fire. Akasha is represented as a 3mm Black Spinel.

Each of these pendants begin as a unique wax model which is then cast in Sterling Silver using the lost wax casting method. The stone settings and bail are fabricated by hand and different metal components fitted together and soldered in place. After the stones are set the piece is finished by hand. After all finishing work is completed it is coated in a layer of black patina to emphasize the recessed portions of the design. The raised portions are brought back to a high polish in contrast. All of the work from the wax model to the casting and finishing is performed by me in house at the Drakenforge studio.
